Dr. David R. Schuler, a national education leader and superintendent in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, is passionate about the importance of community service learning and preparing all students to be college, career and life ready.
Dr. Schuler launched Redefining Ready!, a national initiative around post-secondary readiness, during his time as 2015-16 president of AASA, The School Superintendents Association. In 2018, Dr. Schuler was named the Illinois Superintendent of the Year and that same year he was named the AASA National Superintendent of the Year.
Dr. Schuler earned his bachelor’s degree from Carroll University and his master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Don is an experienced educational leader and has served in the roles of teacher, principal, and Chief School Improvement Officer. Upon completion of his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Don accepted a position as principal in Chicago Public Schools (CPS), and under his leadership, his school was rated one of the top 100 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
Later, he co-founded TeacherMatch, a research consortium focused on helping districts make more effective hiring choices. Don is now excited to help schools and districts transform their communities by empowering students with the Transeo community service platform.
Jimmy has years of tech and product development experience working with companies across America. As one of Transeo’s co-founders and Chief Technical Officer, he helps drive systems and processes for development and integration and leads a team of powerful developers to build world-class technology.
As a graduate of District 214 in Illinois, Jimmy was exposed to a number of career experiences and opportunities. Now, he’s passionate about helping to deliver those opportunities to others.
After spending over a decade as a leader in award-winning organizations supporting students, Ken saw first-hand the problems facing today’s schools and the challenge of preparing students to be work-ready, for post-secondary education, and ultimately, to live a fulfilled life. First as a consultant and now in software, Ken has found avenues to empower schools across America to redefine readiness, so that all students have the opportunity to thrive.
Ken was recognized at PeopleAdmin and PowerSchool for his work helping schools hire top talent, improve their management systems, and perfect their professional learning processes. Now at Transeo, he sees the opportunity to enhance students’ community service engagement and provide them with much-needed work-readiness experiences.
While Matt holds several advanced degrees, he is most proud of the hands-on experience gained by demonstrating the static curricula fail apparent in many school systems. As a result, Matt dedicates his career to advancing education to more effectively cater to individual students’ interests and abilities.
Alyson is interested in how modern tools can increase learner access and bridge the gap between teaching, learning, and application. As an outdoor educator, wilderness counselor, and special education teacher, Alyson saw first hand the power that alternative learning experiences can have on young people. She believes that such opportunities are critical to developing the skills and habits needed to thrive at school, at home, at work, and in the community. Alyson has led several customer success teams within the ed-tech space. She aims to deeply understand customers and the problems they are trying to solve. As a Customer Success Director at Transeo, she provides the resources and services that customers need to find success with the system, so that they can focus on what matters most - supporting their students towards life readiness.
Dustin has worked in K-12 and Higher Education for over 15 years. Throughout his professional career, he has served as a School Counselor, Club Advisor, Graduate Professor and now Assistant Superintendent.
Dustin’s passion for the Transeo team comes from years of frustration with tracking community service through paper forms and lack of administrative assistance in overseeing the process of goal setting. With Transeo, Dustin is excited to help create opportunities for students to set achievable goals, give back to their communities while feeling supported by their School, and provide post-secondary institutions an insight into the work we are doing with our students on community service.
Patrick is the backbone of Transeo, providing financial and operational support across departments. From HR support to financial forecasting, Patrick is dedicated to creating processes and efficiencies. He believes in the power of relevant post-secondary opportunities and is grateful he can play a role in closing the access gap.
Tess is driven by helping students find their unique pathway to success in an often dismantled education system. At Transeo, she helps connect to our customers by bringing relevant solutions to appropriate stakeholders. Tess has many years of experience in sales and enjoys building meaningful relationships to help understand our customers.
As Transeo’s content Developer, Lauren believes quality and thoughtful training empowers people, makes them feel confident, and helps them to be confident with the products they are using. She is proud that Transeo allows educators and students to take control of their life-readiness experience to instill those same feelings of empowerment and confidence.
With years of experience in Ed-Tech start-ups, Jake is a strategic sales consultant with a passion for enhancing the student experience. Jake has built an extensive background in non-profit, K-12 education, and workforce preparedness and now works closely with educators in the Midwest. He’s passionate about providing insight and resources to help transform student readiness and prepare them for success post-graduation.
Danielle earned her BA in Marketing and has found passion in event management. Here at Transeo, Danielle coordinates our conference procedures, webinar series, and other marketing strategies by creating structure and process-driven frameworks. She is endlessly inspired by educators and loves the connection she is able to build with them.
Danielle has over 25 years of sales experience in the education industry. As she has grown in her sales career, what motivates her the most is providing solutions to students. Here at Transeo, Danielle provides a consultative approach to help track complex graduation requirements and help students explore career options so they can gain readiness for their chosen post-secondary pathway.
Kathy previously served as an in-the-classroom teacher with a strong passion for students' success. She believes that Transeo prepares students for life post-secondary education by connecting them to experiences that align with their career interests. At Transeo, Kathy supports clients with the goal to become a trusted advisor to our partners, provide product training, and share best implementation practices in order for students to be successful.
Here at Transeo, Savannah partners with clients to help understand their goals and create a holistic strategy that works best for the student's success. Savannah believes that Transeo provides tools that are necessary for students to be successful.
Working across the country Joe has over a decade of experience in Customer Success in education technology. His passion lies in encouraging students to succeed so that they may reach their fullest potential. Life after High School comes with many challenges and the better we prepare our students for the real world the better in turn the world will be. From state to state and coast to coast he's supported some of the most innovative school districts in the nation bringing cutting edge digital tools to educators and students.
Based in San Diego, Joe supports Transeo's partners as Director of Customer Success in the West.
Natalie has years of experience working for non-profits that focused on youth prevention, mental health, and career readiness. She is passionate about helping students thrive and equipping them with the tools they need to be successful in life. As a Customer Success Manager at Transeo, she ensures that clients have the resources and training needed in order to fully utilize the system so they can achieve their goals and best prepare their students for success.
Beth is pursuing her Doctorate of Professional Studies in Instructional Design Leadership so she can help make systemic change. Throughout Beth's 30 years in education, she has brought her passion for supporting educators to districts by helping them find the right tools to streamline processes. By implementing technology solutions, educators have more time to work with students and teach.
Scott is an award-winning UX/UI developer and Transeo’s Product Designer. He works tirelessly to ensure our customers have a valuable, enjoyable, and productive experience when using the software. Scott believes equity and access are the cornerstones of our education system and is excited to contribute to moving the needle in education forward.
James is an enthusiastic full-stack web developer with a breadth of insight in both front and back-end technologies. With years of management experience in fast-paced environments, James understands the need for simplified, streamlined processes in business. Because of this, James is passionate about using his technical acumen to create robust software for educators and students alike.
Art is a seasoned consultant in the education field and brings decades of experience in the field. His role allows him to demonstrate realistic, real-word ways to empower students' goals and prepare for college, career, and life readiness.
With a BA of Science in Civil Engineering, Taylor is an experienced Full-Stack Engineer with a passion for helping students find post-secondary success. In his day-to-day role, Taylor helps build and maintain Traseo’s software by developing and implementing both front and backend solutions.
Aaron is a former college athlete who is passionate about academics and alternative learning opportunities for students. As Aaron has grown in his career, he is exceedingly passionate about helping students acquire the skills and self-confidence needed to achieve academic excellence. Here at Transeo Aaron uses his inside knowledge as a former substitute teacher to help school districts by providing them with tools and insight to ensure that students needs are met in post-secondary success.
Amanda has dedicated many years to education and has served as an educator since 2002. She gained a strong passion for helping students access opportunities to find their unique career pathway, whether that is continued education, or becoming successful doing whatever they love. At Transeo, Amanda feels as though we are making a difference by providing the necessary tools to support their chosen path.
After earning his BA in Business Management, Brandon started his career in sales shortly after. As he has worked closely in the tech industry, he has found passion in the Ed-Tech community. Here at Transeo, Brandon finds great passion in providing the tools students can use to empower them in their post-secondary journey.
A former educator herself, Natalie is passionate about giving students the opportunity to explore their post-secondary journey with hands-on experiences that allows them to practice real-world scenarios. At Transeo, Natalie ensures a positive customer experience by focusing on the customer's needs and continually improving the customer experience.
With a Bachelor’s degree in psychology paired with a certification in elementary education, Alyssa has been engrained in education for the entirety of her career. During her experience as a classroom teacher, she saw the impact online tools and programs made on children's lives. With a passion to continue this impact, Alyssa joined Transeo’s team where she works closely with educators to ensure student success.
After earning her BS in Human Development and her Master’s in Education, Mariah began her career in education serving 5 years as a teacher. She gained a strong passion for helping students prepare for life after school, not just preparing them for their next test. With Transeo, Mariah feels as though she can make a difference in students' readiness for life by focusing on work-based learning.
With years of technical implementation under her belt, Casey designs and develops training content to enhance customers’ learning and skill-acquisition goals. Paired with her academic experience in anthropology, she’s committed to using natural human behavior to influence training and technology.
