Date:
Nov 9, 2022 11:00 AM

Webinar Description

Finances can be a huge barrier to students applying to college, and many families need guidance and support when filling out the FAFSA, finding scholarships, and mapping out a plan to pay for postsecondary education.

We’ve assembled college counseling experts to host a free webinar that will give you tips, information and insights to support your students through the financial aid process. We’ll focus on:

  • Steps for students and parents, including FSA ID creation and a FAFSA checklist
  • Common obstacles to completing the FAFSA
  • Counseling for first-generation students and special populations
  • Types of financial aid
  • Comparing financial aid packages (including some tools for families!)

Hosted by Ann Herbener, Transeo Education Services Manager, and Leah Nicholson, Director of Student Financial Assistance for the Kansas Board of Regents

Helping Students Graduate Ready

Scaling Work-Based Learning

Helping Students Graduate Ready

Join us to discuss the mission of going beyond college and career readiness to make sure students are ready no matter what the next steps are. At eDynamic Learning and Transeo, we are on a mission to help support educators and enable students to discover their skills, passion, and purpose. As part of this mission we are working with educators that are thinking beyond college and career readiness and, instead, helping their students consider what their desired career pathway requires. This can help students gain more focus to see a connection between school and a career.

Join us to hear from a panel of passionate educators as we discuss the many ways they are helping students become ready for each student’s unique post-secondary path:

  • Industry certifications
  • Apprenticeship exploration
  • Internship experience
  • Workplace readiness
  • Associate degree preparation
  • Bachelor’s degree preparation

Attend this session and you will walk away with practical insights into how educators are implementing programs and broadening the scope of what post-secondary success looks like for their students.
